Dave Swinfen left the cooler, less manic sanctuary of middle England last year to pursue new adventures here in Thailand. He is a motoring journalist by heart and origin, and has worked with Aston Martin, Jaguar, BMW, Lexus and Land Rover, covering launches, road testing, opinion writing and shows.

Bangkok has opened new vistas of opportunity, and Swinfen now covers business, politics, interior design, agriculture and travel, as well as the usual corporate PR stuff. When not in front of a laptop or interviewee, Swinfen enjoys exploring the hidden charms of Thailand; this is largely because it’s easier than working on his debut novel, which is now (somehow) nearing completion.
